Changing the way we think, act, and talk about dementia.
Learn how dementia affects people and simple ways to make a difference. In a free, 1-hour Information Session led by a Champion, you will:
- Learn the 5 key messages about dementia
- Understand how dementia affects communication
- Discover how you can turn your understanding into meaningful action
- Be counted as a Dementia Friend!

Email Beth at bsoltzberg@jfcsboston.org. We will work to match you with a local Champion who can lead a session tailored to your group.
Based on volunteer Champion availability, Information Sessions may be offered in English, Arabic, Chinese, Haitian Creole, Khmer, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Vietnamese. Specialized sessions are also available for
- People with or providers for Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD)
- High School and Teen Groups
- Jewish communities
- LGBTQIA+ communities
- American Indian and Alaska Native communities
